 Valentine's Dinner
Monday, Feb. 13, 5:30-7:30 p.m., QOP Social Hall 

Bring your sweetheart, your family, or your group of friends to this elegant evening of dinner with music. Enjoy a three-course meal while being serenaded by beautiful piano music in support of the youth goup. The students who participate in this event will be raising money for this summer's servic e trip, diocesan summer camps, and World Youth Day 2013. Tickets available following wknd. Masses or in the parish office. If you are unable to attend, please consider buying a meal for take out and picking it up that night. 

 

Little Flowers Girls' Club

We have started a Little Flowers Girls' Club at Queen of Peace. It is an opportunity for young Catholic girls to gather and learn about their faith, Mary, St. Therese, and other saints of the Church. The girls will learn virtues by making crafts, doing activities, and learning Scripture. If your daughter would like to join the group, please call Kerri at 384-9272. 

 

All-Parish Bake Sale

February 18 & 19 before and after Masses

We will help the Lake Superior Life Care Center in its work with many who are pregnant and afraid. Please help load up the tables, then buy your favorites! Proceeds will purchase the cribs for the All-Parish Baby Shower starting Mar. 10 through Mar. 25.

 

Blue Knights Boys' Club

The Blue Knights is a Catholic catechetical program for young boys ages 5-13. It is modeled after the Little Flower's. This similar program will give young Catholic boys an opportunity to learn about their faith and developing a devotion to Saint Joseph. We meet Tues. nights from 4-6 p.m. For more information, call Mark, 878-0423.

 

Adult Ed. Lenten Series

The Franciscan Sisters of the Eucharist are offering Adult Education Lenten Series at QOP. Re-awaken a Lenten Spirit in preparation for the Holiest Week of the Year! For more info, please call Sister Janet Marie, 218-624-9038. Free-will offering.

Fridays during Lent:  Stations of the Cross at 5:30 p.m. followed by soup suppers.  Feb. 24, Mar. 2, 9, 16, 23, 30

Fish Fry

However, on Feb. 24, instead of soup, it will be a FISH FRY!!!!
