“In the Diocese of Duluth, Confirmation will be conferred on candidates in their junior or senior year of high school who have been suitably instructed and are properly disposed.”

In Queen of Peace Parish, 9^th and 10^th grade classroom learning focuses on developing an understanding of each pillar of the Church (Creed, Sacraments, Commandments and Prayer). Class time is 7:15-8:30 p.m. on Wednesday evenings.

Students in 9^th and 10^th grade need to complete the registration form.  Additional fees may be required for retreats, workshops, and special events.

Readiness for Confirmation also involves regular active participation in the Sunday Eucharist, participation in a diocesan-approved Confirmation retreat as well as evidence of faith in action (service projects, mission trips, etc.).  Many events are coordinated with the Youth Minister so be sure to check the Youth Group information on this website.

Specific catechesis for Confirmation extends into the fall of the students junior year when Confirmation is celebrated.
