Youth Group Programs:

Adults and College Students

YES!  Youth group is for YOU!  During the summer PLEASE join us for Breakfast Club, where we meet for Mass one morning a week and than join each other for breakfast.  It is a wonderful way to stay connected to your church family during the summer months, and fellowship with others who love being Cathoilc!

During the school year, WE NEED YOU! We need you to invest in the young people in our community.  If our youth do not feel the love of Catholic adults in their lives, they will not open their hearts to the love that Christ has for them!  There are a number of ways that you can pour into our young people’s lives.

1)      Be a youth group volunteer- This would mean that you would commit to spending time building relationships with the young people once a week at either Jr. High Youth Group (Tuesdays) or Sr. High Youth Group (Sundays.)  This can be one of the most rewarding parts of working with youth!  The fun and friendships that we have are irreplaceable!

2)      Volunteer for events- This would mean that about once a month you would be willing to join us for an event…whether that is driving (must be 21 or older) to a youth rally or Valleyfair or chaperoning a lock-in. If you want to be able to help our kids have good clean fun, this may be the place for you!

3)      Be on the GO-TO LIST- Can you make yourself available at a moment’s notice? Can you bake a mean pan of brownies? Do you have a talent or passion that you would like to share with our youth?  Let us know the gifts that you would like to share so that we can call on you when we need an activity, snack, chaperone, speaker, or anything else you can come up with!

4)      Be a Prayer Warrior- Today’s youth are surrounded by ungodly influances that could make even the most devout person stumble.  And in many cases they have no one praying that they would be able to withstand temptation.  If you can commit to spending time in prayer for a young person of our parish, please do so!  THEY NEED OUR PRAYERS!

If you would like to be involved in one of these ways, please contact us by emailing Rebekah Swanson at qopyouthdirector@gmail.com or call the parish office at 879-6793.
